Welcome and thank you for visiting the Assign-A-Highway Program website. This website will be used as an information portal for anyone interested in learning more about the Assign-A-Highway Program. This website will tell you how to implement the Program, and will explain the results and benefits of having this Program in your locality.

The Upper Tennessee River Roundtable, Inc. is coordinating a multi-year project to export the Assign-A-Highway Program through grants from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and Virginia Department of Transportation. It is the desire of the VA DEQ, VDOT, and the UTRR to get as many county and cities in the Commonwealth of Virginia as possible to join the AAH Program.

The Commonwealth is one of the most historic and beautiful states in the nation. With the widespread adoption of the Assign-A-Highway Program, we can drastically reduce the accumulation of litter on our roadsides. Eliminating road side litter is not only a matter of respect, but it is also an economic and industrial development issue.
